"In 2001, deeply shocked by the attitude of the Taliban government, which destroyed intentionally unique monuments of world heritage sites, the Commander Berardo initiated his dream, the construction of this large oriental garden. Providing, in a sense, homage to the colossal Buddhas carved into the rock of the valley of Bamyan in central Afghanistan, and that for centuries were spiritual and cultural references.
This is a nonprofit cultural institution and in the service of the national and international community, whose mission is to alert visitors to inner knowledge, through the garden in dialogue with a vast sculptural heritage, devoted to meditation and promoting social interaction and cultural, as the principles of solidarity and human dignity."
